Decisions

“These things have I spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.’ John 16:1

How do you go about making decisions in your life? Do you prayerfully submit to the Lord the choices you have to make? Do you listen to the Holy Spirit as he guides you on what to do? Or do you just go ahead and do what you feel is right? A saying that I hear a lot these days is, “It is better to ask for forgiveness than to ask permission.” In other words do what you want and if its the wrong decision just ask for forgiveness.

God has definite plans for each one of us. He cares about what we do each and every day. In Psalm 16:11, He promises, “to show us the path of life” In Psalm 32, he promises “to instruct us in the way we should go”

We must remember that God sees our entire life before Him and we only see the moment that we are in. Because of this we should seek His will and guidance for our lives. He has sent us the Holy Spirit to help us with this. Trust in His leading, follow His direction and He will direct your paths.
