Pastor Tim Hawman
Lead Pastor
Pastor Tim Hawman has been the lead pastor at Emmanuel since 2019. Prior to coming to Exeter, Pastor Tim served as a pastor in North Bay for 30 years. He has been married for 36 years to his wife Lisa and they have two adult children, Ellie and Jordan. In his spare time, Tim loves to paint landscapes and hang out with his family.
Pastor Mitch Hogeveen
Associate Pastor
Pastor Mitch Hogeveen has been leading youth and young adult ministries at Emmanuel since 2023. He is married to Elisabeth and they have four children: Gracie, Ezra, Owen and Emma. He enjoys spending time outside with his family, from hiking to exploring small towns and going to the beach.
Krystle Zielman
Administrative Assistant
Worship Director
Born and raised in Huron County, Krystle is married to Gerard, and they have three children: Gavin, Grayson and Josie. Their family have attended Emmanuel since 2011. Krystle currently serves as Worship Director (2021) and Administrator (2023.) Some of Krystle’s pastimes include paddle boarding, shopping and baking. She can often be found at the beach soaking up the sun or reading. Her favourite book of the Bible is Ruth.
James Brown
Elder, Chairman
James works as a primary care pharmacist in Wingham, Ontario. He is married to Helen and they have one daughter, Karyssa. Their family started attending Emmanuel in 2021 where James has served on the Elder board since 2022. James enjoys spending his time reading, kayaking and kneeboarding at the beach.

Steve Raterink
Elder
Steve works as a mechanic for Volkswagen. He is married to Aliesha and they have three children. Their family have been attending Emmanuel since 2021, where Steve has served on the elder board since 2024. Steve's interests include fixing and tinkering on cars as well as helping people go through life. His Old Testament hero is David.
