"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men ought always to pray and not loose heart.” Luke 18:1
This past week we have been looking at prayer. Today I want to look at the results of prayer. You should see these results as you put in effort to improve your prayer life.
Here are a few things that come from a devoted prayer life.
- A growing relationship with Jesus.
- Spiritual growth in our lives.
- A purifying effect on us morally.
- A passion to obey God.
- Changing perspective from yours to God’s.
- A reliance on God to meet our every need.
- A positive faith attitude
- Power in our service to God
- Productivity in every area of our lives.
- Peace that passes all understanding.
Are you seeing results because of your prayer life is improving? Do you have other things to add to this list? Victory in one of these or all of them is a quarantine that you are devoted to prayer. When you are devoted, God will do amazing things in your life. He will use you in ways you never thought possible. Your relationship with Him will grow and grow and it will be difficult to explain it to others.
Prayer is simple. It truly is just communicating with God. Give time to this, and allow God to work in your life. Take your prayer life to a higher level. God is listening because He loves us.
