When can I come?
NOTE: Areas below with lines through them are suspended due to Covid-19 and will resume when safe to meet in person.
ONLINE SERVICES: join us online each Sunday for our services. Our services are available anytime after 8:30am Sunday mornings by clicking here: Emmanuel Baptist Church Exeter You Tube Channel
Our services are on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. You're welcome to arrive early and sit in our sanctuary. During the time of Covid-19, we kindly ask you to consider registering for our onsite services ahead of time by clicking here: Registration for Services at EBC
Where do I go?
During Covid-19, plan to be screened when you arrive and be ready to wear a mask. Children too. We have many round tables set up in our sanctuary to accommodate families with younger children. Each child that pre-registers will have a large ziplock Activity bag ready for them to use during the service. We will also be showing a short Sunday school lesson video from the front for children to enjoy just before our Pastor begins his sermon.
When you arrive, if you have pre-school children, you can register them in our nursery. If you have school age children or youth, they can remain with you in the main auditorium until they are dismissed for Sunday School. If you're visiting for the first time, you can come see us at the Welcome Desk in the foyer and receive a new mug.
What do I wear?
We don't have a dress code for our services, so feel free to come dressed up or casual.
What can I expect?
Emmanuel is a warm and welcoming church family of all generations. You can expect an upbeat and safe environment to worship, grow, and serve.
Come ready to hear an expository sermon from God's Word around 35 mins in length.
Come ready to worship God through song to various contemporary praises.
Many hours of prayer from various members go into our Sunday services. Expect that you will be covered in prayer. If you would like to talk with someone and have them pray with you, our elders and pastors are available each Sunday.
We partake in communion together on the first Sunday of each month.
There is Sunday School available to kids and youth, grades 1-12, during the morning service. Have your children remain with you in the auditorium until they are dismissed to their class. If for some reason there is no Sunday School, it will be indicated in our bulletin. There is no Youth Sunday School class on the first Sunday or each month as we encourage them to sit under the preaching of God's Word and partake in communion.
