“This is the stone which was rejected by your builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. Nor is there salvation by any other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-12.
When you think of the way Jesus entered this world, you usually do not think of power or authority. Lying in a feeding trough of the animals in a stable because there was no room at the inn. Yet all of this was the beginning of God’s plan to save the world from its sin. Think about that and you see power and authority. Only Jesus would be able to bring such a radical change into people’s lives. It is because of His life, His death, and His resurrection that we can have a relationship with Him.
Sleeping in a manager, Jesus did not look like He would be a man that would transform the world, but He did. Peter after the death and resurrection of Jesus, explained to the rulers and leaders who Jesus really was. He said, “ This is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-12.
Jesus birth was fulfilling the prophesies of the Old Testament. His life would do the same. He made the world to realize its need for a Saviour, and that through Him we could have eternal life. He did it all for us.
If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Saviour, then do it now. Eternal life is waiting for you if you will only trust and obey. Live your life for Him. You will be glad that you did.
