On the first day of camp, Monday July 23rd, we’ll be visiting the Junction Climbing Centre in London.
Each camper MUST submit an online waiver in order to climb.
Even if you think your child will not want to climb, you still need to fill out a waiver just in case, and for our records.
If they choose not to climb on that day, that’s fine, but they will still need to travel with us, sit and watch.
Visit junctionclimbing.com to complete the waiver.
IMPORTANT CAMPER INFORMATION
FIRST DAY: Arrive early on the first day (8:30 am) as registration always takes a little bit longer on Monday.
Campers will get to choose their own small group and Wonderland group.
Your child will receive a colored bracelet at registration, and it may be different then the color of a friend. Please
encourage them not to panic, those bracelets are only for choosing participants for group games during our session
time,it does not mean they have to be separated from their friends.
FOOD: Same as school, campers will provide their own lunch and snacks each day. Please make sure all
food is peanut-free. Bring a reusable water bottle with you as we have a water fountain on site.
We will provide a snack for the campers on TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY.
CLOTHES: Campers should bring a bathing suit, towel, indoor/outdoor footwear,
and backpack with them each day to accommodate the various activities.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES: Monday will be indoor rock climbing at the Junction Climbing Centre, and games in a park.
Tuesday, half the group (40 campers) will visit Laser Quest, the other half will swim at Thames Pool in London.
Wednesday, campers will do the opposite activity that they did on Tuesday.
Thursday, we spend all day at Canada's Wonderland.
CANADA'S WONDERLAND: All campers will be chaperoned by an adult or high school leader.
Please go over the following rules with your child before the trip:
- All students are personally (with their group) required to check in with us between 4-5 pm and
at 7:00 pm to load the bus for departure at 7:30 pm sharp.
- All students must remain in their groups, with their chaperone at all times. For example,
if one student needs to use the bathroom, everyone in that group must go. Same applies for rides.
- We will make up groups during the week and try our best to put friends together and those with similar
ride interests. We cannot guarantee that each camper will get to do every single ride/attraction they desire.
